What sign post sizes can be used with SPF housings?
SPF housings clamp Schedule 80 or 10 BWG (Birmingham Wire Gauge) sign posts.

Will the SPF housing fit my ground stub?
Yes. If you purchased the stub from a triangular slipbase housing manufacturer, the SPF housing will fit.

Does the SPF housing meet NCHRP Report 350 standards?
Yes.

Are SPF housings sold individually, or as kits?
SPF housings are sold as kits. One kit includes all pieces needed to attach the sign post to the stub:
1 – SPF triangular slipbase housing
5 – 5/8 – 11 X 2 ½ bolts
5 – 5/8 – 11 2H nuts
9 – F – 436 washers
1 – bolt keeper
1 – assembly drawing

Will a sign post damaged by a set screw housing still work in a SPF housing?
Yes.

Can a SPF housing be used after impact (i.e. a vehicle collides with a sign post system)?
Yes.

Can a SPF housing be used as a ground stub?
Yes.
